Hi, We’re Goods LA MFG.

I often describe the apparel industry as the wild wild west - where corporate rules and/or business structure don’t always apply. In this chaotic business, you’ll find interesting characters, lightning fast pace, and your occasional “wtf” moment.  You’ll also find that this industry exists in somewhat of a bubble that is not too welcoming to outsiders. After 10+ years in the apparel manufacturing industry, I’ve learned that the barriers to entry, gatekeepers, and steep learning curve kept entrepreneurs from reaching a certain point in their journey. I wanted to change that. Goods LA MFG. was founded on the idea that apparel production should be inclusive, affordable, and fun.

I will be updating this blog periodically to share what we are working on. I’ll also be sharing tips and highlighting creatives. My hope is that these posts serve as a tool/guide and open opportunities to those entering this field.
